Meet James Bennington, mostly known as JB. If you read my Sims 2 journal, you may have noticed that he looks kind of similar to Edgar, and I'm actually assuming they're second cousins or something. James is a really weird character. He began as an out-of-character fanfiction version of a villain from my friend's novel, but he took on a life of his own and has nothing in common with the original anymore.

The kid in the back is his "son" Evan James - EJ. When the angry Fairy Queen teleported JB to another realm (loooong story!), she took pity on him and transformed his little pet piglets into children. In the process, JB also seems to have become part pig. He's still learning how all this "dad" stuff works.

JB has a girlfriend. This is Melody Farrell, who you probably know as one of the inmates in my Asylum Challenge. She also plays Aylatani's mom, the evil flower fairy, but nothing from the Starblooms is canon outside of their own story.

JB is thinking of proposing to her, making it official and creating a stable home for his kids, but... It's his first time getting married, he has no experience with domestic bliss. Melody, on the other hand, has 14 marriages behind her (in her backstory), and they lasted 6 months as an average. Most of the time that wasn't Melody's fault, though. Some of her husbands were right swine (No offense, JB!) who she had to get away from, a few suffered terribly tragic deaths, and the last one disappeared in a revolving door. It happens to three people every year.

This is Everett, the second oldest of the Piglets. He's a shy, quiet and responsible type. Suddenly being a human teenager came as a bit of a shock to the poor boy, and he's still easing himself into his new existance by wearing the sort of clothes people do where his Dad's from. He vaguely remembers what people looked like back there, and he's clinging to any scraps of familiarity he can find.

These two are Paddy, in the brown vest, and Ulric. Poor Paddy is scared of his own shadow, and prefers not to leave the house at all, if he can avoid it. Ulric is happy and reckless, and has a thing for dragons. One day he's going to have his own to ride around on, if Daddy can find a way of getting them back to the world they came from.

Melody: What exactly are you waiting for, James? I've told you it's over between me and Dean. We can't possibly be married anymore. He's gone, evaporated! They never find any of them! If you want me to be your girl, and raise a family with you, you'd better put a ring on it!

JB: You know I love a feisty wench! *smoooch!*

I'm sorry! Eyebleach is in the fridge, in case you need it.

Melody: Weeeeeell... Seeing as you never get around to it, I'll do it. James Bennington Throttlewood, will you do me the pleasure of becoming my 15th and final husband?

JB: Guess what? I think I do!

(Melody is sooo skinny, whooa! 0.o)

That's Natalie Riley bullying Melody. You'll see more of her later on, in several incarnations. For some reason, she's a huge pain in the ass who picks on everyone, despite being set to have a friendly personality.

This happened over at the Rileys' house, by the way. JB visits people in only his undies some times.

JB: I'm not doing the dishes tonight!

Everett: More for meeee! *plus*

They live in Melody's house now. JB's little shack in the woods was not really suitable for a family.

They're lucky to have Everett. He's by far the most responsible and grounded of the lot.

Melody is more interested in another type of "cooking."

JB: (They're piglets. I have to remember that. Learning manners takes time. *siiigh*)

JB: What do you mean, my kids behave like wild animals?

Melody: I mean that they behave like wild animals. Duh!

I managed to fix the glitch that caused Melody's breasts to sink into her chest cavity. Now she (almost) has boobs. :D

Melody: Raising children is haaaaaaard! :(

Poor Melody. You're starting to see why she had to take a little "vacation", don't you? :P
