Hooray! This journal is a year old!

On the 6th of November, in the Year of Our Lord 2013, I made this LiveJournal account to have a place to post my deplorable Sims 2 pictures. I never really intended it to have readers, just to be a chronicle of my misadventures with the game. Back then I was a bonafide TS3-player, and I was pretty sure that this whole "reinstalling Sims 2"-thing was going to be sporadic nostalgia trips. One year later, I'm up to Generation 5 of a Prettacy and an ISBI, and Generation 4 of a "Travecy". Oops, I have Sims 3?

I eased myself back into TS2-land by playing the Pleasant family and re-downloading my old CC favourites. Then I made the Athertons, as a sort of challenge. That was fun. I miss those goofballs.

Suddenly I was interested in reading TS2 Legacies again. The first one I started following was raemia's Almassy Legacy, and I started toying with the idea of starting one of my own. Then I found alittlestrange's amazing Duckling Prettacy. Before I knew it, I had started a prettacy myself, with a hideous founder I actually hated the look of. Poor, old Douglas. We hardly knew ye. At first I wanted to breed out that ugly face as soon as possible. However, the family turned out to be my favourite Sims ever.

And the rest is history. :)
