I used to think I was happy letting the winds of life blow me around as well, but now I see that I may have been wrong. However... today I seem to have been blown into a job possibility that sounds a bit challenging, and... somewhat dangerous, but is alleged to be well paid. In today's economy, those are some sweet words. We'll be getting full training in handling the equipement, etc. That will definitely help in financing a future return to the School of Hard Thinking. :)
