I may have a little problem...

Long story short, I think the whole Magpie mega-lot is mega-glitched. I've had to move the family out of there, but I'm scared of deleting the house in case I corrupt the neighbourhood further. It probably wasn't a good idea to put all the legacies in one hood, but I wanted to do a sort-of-BACC, etc.

And so, the situation for the Magpies is as followed: The Immortals - Rowland, Helena, Weedy, Jennifer, Burton, Francie, Sharkey, Ettie and Peggy - have moved back to their original house. I must have slipped into some sort of sanity, because I can't handle playing a 20+ person household anymore. It leaves me no room to focus on the younger generations, and they suffer for it. Besides, the good oldies are safer in their own house.

The rest of the gang, headed by Ferrett, are going to have to build a new house. This one's going to be a lot smaller, and I won't bother with giving everyone their own bedroom. Ugh. I just hope it's not the Sims themselves that are nerffed.

Well, I am certainly no expert, but it sounds like the lot did glitch, so the rest of the neighborhood should still be okay. I've read about glitched lots, but of course I can't remember what I read, so I'd have to go read it all again. XD I decided not to keep gravestones on residential lots anymore because of the feat of glitches, although you won't see that decision in my game play until Duckling generation eleven, I think, and not for a few more Dimwit updates. I always fall back on my backups when something weird happens, and I'm making backups even more often now, but I'd like the option of trying to move the family out and back in if the lot ever glitches again because it's a pain having to restore a backup and play something all over again. I wouldn't dare try that if there were gravestones still on the lot. That's also why I build houses and save a copy before I move a family in. If moving out and back in doesn't help, I can bulldoze the lot and put in a fresh copy of the same house. Because I like the Ducklings' house, and the Dimwits' new house. :D

P.S. I know you didn't have any gravestones on your lot. I'm just relating my semi-related experience with lots glitching. X)

I'm off to hunt for floor-plans for 5 or 6 bedroom houses. That should technically be enough for now. I've got bunk beds, and 2-3 adult Sims can share a room. It's annoying to have to build yet another house, but I need to practice my building skills. Remember Katu_Sims' legacy, and all the gigantic houses she barely got to play? :-(
