Um yeah, time for a laptop migration.

This one's done for. I'm taking the last back-up of my Sims2 game and screenshots as I type, then tomorrow I go look for a replacement with better capabilities. And this time I won't harass the poor thing with TS3. I love my neighbourhoods and all, but they'll have to wait until I'm on a desktop. From now on it's all glorious TS2 for me!

In the mean time, have some of my favourite neighbourhood pictures from back in the day.

Well, your laptop soldiered on to its brave conclusion. At least you didn't lose anything! I hope you can find a good replacement.

Those screen shots are beautiful. I don't care for the look of the Sims themselves in TS3, but the graphics are superior by far. I love the lighting and the way the neighboring lots don't go all pixelated.

I prefer the Sims2-look as well, at least the faces. It would be neat to have that style of faces on the customizable TS3 bodies. It's the look of the world itself, and the less restricted gameplay that makes me miss it. I've got a mod that improves the ambient light, and it does wonders. It's really not a laptop-game, though.
