This was back when I played the game on my old laptop. It was a weaker computer than this one, but for some reason it managed to actually render Sims 2 in more than 800x600. I think it's got something to do with the operative system, etc. Windows 10 doesn't like Sims 2. Nowadays the screenshots look way worse than the in-game camera. :( I've tried everything anyone has suggested.
