This was a relatively quick and easy build. I used a real floorplan, but I managed to fit in more rooms on the upper floor than in the original. There are seven bedrooms in all, including a ground-floor nursery, five full bathrooms, one tiny extra bathroom, a TV-den and a large, open kitchen/dining/livingroom.

I'm done with Step 1 in building the new Magpie residence. The walls are all up, and it has a roof.

Okay, it's pretty obvious the Magpies need to move houses as well. Their house is even more of an architechtural disaster than the old MacAvoy place. I started playing their lot again, and it was all chaos. So yeah, new house, please. It's just very difficult to find floorplans for something that size. :-/ The best I've found is for a Victorian boarding school, but hey, that could work!

I know some people like seeing overviews of legacy houses, so in the occasion of the MacAvoys' new home I've taken some snapshots.

I've built the shell itself. Since I'm a crap builder, I used a real floorplan, and it came out okay. It looks like it will be a lot more functional than their old, rambly place.
