So, I went and bought Cooking Simulator on a whim, because it looked hilarious in the Let's Plays I've seen. It was only $6 on sale, and I needed to set up a Steam account for when I have time to get into Planet Zoo. (Most amazing game ever?! Can Sims 5 be anything like it??!?!!?!?)

My first order was Baked Trout. Look how good I am at chopping lemons. :D

I think I lost one piece on the way to the serving station.

But the customer didn't mind. Yeah, okay. Sorry that I kind of just threw the parsley on, but this game simulates actual physics. 0_o At least she didn't notice that I put horseraddish on the fish by mistake, because that wasn't actually part of the recipe. Isn't horseraddish actually kind of a noticable flavour?

Next order was Salmon With Potatos. What was the verdict?

It only got fried on one side, but the temperature was perfect!

Oh yeah, this is starting to look like my kitchen.

I accidentally all the tomato soup onto the counter when I tried blending it, so the dish now concists of only sourcream. Will that be okay? Gameplay will not progress? OK, starting over after I've had some sleep.

Omygosh I started playing Career Mode instead of Cooking School? It'll be okay, I've watched this on Youtube. And look, here we have actual tomato soup! That last time never happened.

Okay, I'm sorry you got like 314ml of delicious soup instead of exactly 299ml. I'll do better. What do you mean I can do the next order by myself?

Those are wedges, rite? I mean, the recipe actually just says "quarters."

I forgot there was supposed to be parsley, but the guest is pleased anyway.
Okay, so this has been fun! This is a game that's best captured on video, so I may actually go get myself a nice little mic, and then you can all hear the panic in my voice as I try to finish my orders. But I won't promise!
