Well, a tentative "yes", I think. I have definitely read Sim-stories that were written pretty much in this exact style, and I'm trying to copy it as faithfully as possible. They were all shorter stories, though, not legacies. The main characteristic of that brand of stories is the overwhelming lack of effort. I guess getting through 10 generations of a legacy would need a lot more dedication than most of those writers were willing to put into it.

The TS2 exchange was infamous for having stories where some poor, stupid girl met a random murderer who took her prisoner, etc, and/or really abusive parents. The one I remember most vividly was about a girl whose dad tossed her out of a window, so she broke her back. In the "falling" picture, she was moveObjects-ed outside the window, with a posebox in effect. She was lying in a reclining position, smiling and with her chin in her hand, in thin air. The caption said something like "I fell and fell and I was terrified!" Then she "lay unconscious in the hedge for a week", and people stepped on her legs which were poking out. She was in that pose for the rest of the story, because she was "paralyzed". I sure hope whoever wrote it wasn't above 12 years of age. x)

Thanks for reading! :D
