Last Sunday, I made a post about model railroads. It's friend-locked for reasons, but the main point is that I came across a couple of pictures that were so exeedingly realistic that they made me do a triple take.
I decided to dig a bit, find out what exact model the pictures were from, and if it was privately owned or a public exhibit. Turns out it's a bit of both. The artist behind the amazing layout is Chris Nevard, who's not only a modeller, but also a professional photographer. He builds and photographs his own layouts, and also does work for magazines and books. It sounds like he does exhibit his model work, as well. Take a looksie around his blog, it's got tons of eye-candy.
