The update begins in winter, at a point where young Alexandra was seriously losing it.

Here's finally a good look at Morris. He actually... reminds me of my own Dad. At least he would if he'd had glasses and less hair on the top of his head. And been a lot older.

Vanessa and Morris look pretty happy, dontcha think? Yeah, some of the pictures in this update are done "properly". Since that barely improves the quality at all, since my graphics are so-so, I'm not sure I'm going to bother.

It was the first time I'd really had a kid raeg, and it was way more amusing than it should have been.

Can't really blame the kid, though, when you see what sort of role-models she's got.

Milena: I'm starving, and I can't find any fooooood!

Close enough.

You can really feel the love and care radiating from this picture, no?

Because someone repeatedly kicked the bin over, they got themselves an infestation of roaches. And since I'm not allowed to cancel their stupid actions, a roach-stomping fest ensued.

Followed by a flu-party.

Alexandra: The stupid bugs made me sick! And Mrs. Swiller says I'm the stupidest kid in school! And Mom wants me to do homework!

Since only Vanessa had a job that actually paid a bit at this point, I got Williana fortune as a secondary aspiration. One of the benefits is that she can give financial advice online and make 75 Simoleons per hour. It's more than her father makes.

First couple of face-plants occurred.

Milena started getting upset about her lack of romance. She's married, but ok...

I can't make a TS3-Sim this pretty. Just saying.

Morris: You're the only child in the family who's not failing school. You don't fit in!

Seriously never had a kid this angry! I made my Sims' lives much too easy in the past.

Alexandra: I don't want to be a little kid! I want to grow up, so I can have boobs, and run away from home and get drunk!

To stop everyone from crying all the time, I got them something to play with.

Oh wow... She looks a bit crazy!

And occasionally, she's got very good aim!

Probably the only time she's read a book.

Alexandra: Stupid Williana always does homework, and isn't the dumbest in school. D:

Isn't their house glorious?

I built an extra room, where I put in a chess table and easel for skilling, so they could possibly get some promotions. So far, no one's touched the chess.

Wilandra quickly found the easel, though. :)

I put Evie's bed, potty and bottle in there as well, along with her toys, so she could have it all in one place. She seems happier with this solution. It's not like she's alone all night, as there is always someone in the living room, which is only separated with an open doorway.

They finally got a game console, and with that their moods went up, up, up!

I got the hack that prompts kids to do homework at 7pm if they're not in too bad of a mood. Williana cheered Alex up a bit, so she'd be ready for some serious studying.

I deleted all but one of the old assignments for Alex and Wilandra, so with the ones from the same day they only had to do two each. Wilandra got bored half way through the first one, but Alex stayed up all night and finished. :D

They had some more money by then, so I got them a merry-go-round to play on. Williana loves it.

I also decided they could afford to have a pond dug in the upper corner of the lot. Williana got sent out fishing.

Her first catch! It's mounted above the fridge. x)

Oops. :) I remodelled a little, and moved their old kitchen table into the living room, to serve as a computer desk. I just kind of forgot to buy a new table.

Oooops!

Sorry, darling! It would have been a better idea to call the repairman again!

Williana's brush with death was followed by the first fire of the ISBI. She couldn't call the fire station, because the phone was in the middle of the fire. But she put it out herself.

They've got quite a nice little playground now.

Then of course this happened...

The rain put it out long before the fire engine could get there. I was prepared that they'd get fined, which was annoying enough, but...

Maura Simpson: Was it you who prank called us?

Alexandra: No, Ma'm. That was...

Maura: You are an idiot child! Don't you know that when you prank call the emergency services, you keep them from rescuing people in real need?

Alexandra: Yes, Ma'm.

Maura: You may have killed someone because of what you've done! And you know why you do things like that?

Alexandra: No, Ma'm?

Maura: Because you're an idiot child who is the stupidest in school!

Alexandra: Yes, Ma'm...

Poor Alex. Maura was yelling at her forever, and she just stood there looking apologetic. I was looking all over the Sim Blender to see if there was some way of nastily murdering Maura, but there wasn't.

This guy comes over so often that they should put in an extra bed for him.

Alexandra is too old to sleep in the same bed as her mother. (Yeah, right...)

But she always greets her with a hug when she comes back from work.

She's has found her mean side.

You can see the family resemblance, no?

Uh, Nathan... that's kind of a dangerous suggestion to make to a crazy girl with an axe.

Trigger happy? Not at all...

She's actually into that kind of talk, being a romance-Sim and all.

Milena got promoted. :) Then she brought home Sandi Fairchild, who said she was a cousin of Milena's boss, and that she was going to make sure Milena got promoted again! :)

Playing catch with a wild wolf, what can possibly go wrong?

Look at the Young Athertons' Skilling Party! Only thing is that Alex did that instead of homework. She wasn't as happy the following night.

Alexandra: BAWWWW! I have to do twice as much today!

This is Meadow Thayer, with defaults (I changed default skins again) and a better hair. She's very pretty.

This is one of the things I miss in TS3, random people passing out on your lot.

There was a replacement nanny that day. (Kendall did come back the next day, though.)

Alexandra: I hate Maura, and I hope she burns in hell!

Maura made a really bad impression! Alex randomly raeges about her all the time.

Stay classy.

Sophie Miguel got a nose-job and a make-over. :) I like her now.

Apparently Wilandra gets better grades. For some reason, I didn't take many pictures during the autumn, but the most significant things to happen were some promotions.

Things got a bit all work and no play for Williana.

Vanessa: Congratulations on not getting any!

These two still have it.

Vanessa: I can't believe I peed myself!

Morris: Eh, don't worry! It happens to the best.

Just to show what a great daddy Henry is.

He's also got the dubvious honor of having been the first of the household to freeze solid. And he's the only one to never have gotten promoted. Six or seven weeks into the ISBI, he still makes 168 Simoleons a day.

Even Milena makes at least 350 now.

Williana: Don't cry, Mom. The exterminator's coming over again tomorrow.

Williana had a want to buy a car, and the cheapest option was the buildable one. Only problem was that she didn't quite recognize it as a car, and didn't get the aspiration points. But she got working on it.

Hopefully it's a better car than the Smoog Minima when it's finished, so it will be worth her while. She got a new hairstyle, as you can see. Yes, I've got a new favourite mesh!

Atherton family bonding! A couple of snowdays allowed the kids to stay home and relax. Williana worked on her car, and the other two got on top of their school work. :D

Uh, yeah. The mapping on her night dress is a bit... indecent.

Sparkly fish!

Unfortunately, she didn't get any of it herself, because the family were all too willing to be called to eat. But nevermind, she's got a fridge full of leftovers that she's the only one who ever takes.
