Thanks! Well, the Athertons are not a challenge anymore. They've completed their goal of building a large house, so they get to be a regular playable family from here on. :)
Most of the pages that used to hold the rules are gone, but from what I remember, it something like:
1: Make a family of 8 Sims in CAS. They can be adults or elders, and should be mostly non-related. (I threw in a teenager, but that's because I want tantrums. It's probably against the rules.)
2: The asylum should be as bare-bones as possible. (I'm totally breaking that one!) So no TV or computer. One book case is permitted, because your playable needs to skill.
3: There must always be one bed and one chair less than the number of inhabitants. One of the beds must also be a double one. These must be as low-comfort as possible. (Cheating here as well. There is a bed for every inmate, but two of them are Murphy beds. And there are enough chairs.)
4: You lose points for every patient that dies from hunger.
5: You win the challenge if your controllable fulfills their LTW with all the inmates surviving.
