Hiiii peeps! This is Raelynn once again, with the second part of the Branch's week update. I know the last update was shorter than usual, and this one is too, because I took fewer pics than usual during the week I played them. With so many children there's a lot of repetition, and I guess you're not all that interested in seeing Sims eating, skilling and using the bathrooms.

Anywhoo, last time they took an outing to their favourite hangouts, and almost visited Moriarty at the cemetery. Then they invited the headmaster around, and got all their school-aged children into private education. PQ is also a wolf again! :D

This time you'll see the final two babies, including their real faces. Spike will get his face too, and Storm will become a teen. :D




Milly finally got to experience some family bliss when she had breakfast with many of her children on a Sunday morning. :) Skip was very excited about Spike Stover getting his permanent face later.


I don't think I've ever had a Sim be a baby for three updates before! TBF, they were hardly home in the last one, so time didn't pass for real.


A child's face reveal is always a time of anticipation.


PQ: He got the exact same face we cheated on Anakin!

Milly: Oh, so NOW one of our children gains that kind of features by natural means.

Yeah, sorry Spike. You're going to have a little genetic therapy.


And now: Potty training.

PQ read either Snow White or Twilight to Lark. They can both be traumatic to children.


Yeah, I don't think Lark's going to grow up mentally unscathed.


Lark: If I pee myself now, I won't ever become fit for human interactions!


It's great that the kids think it's fun to work in the garden, because it gets them in shape for doing homework at the same time as they learn valuable skills while psyching themselves up for the learning of valuable skills. :)


Anakin was never happier than when he was out in the darkness with his best friend Cleo Petra.


Storm hated being woken up from a nice nap because it was homework time.


Spike's genetic treatment was taking effect. :)


Polly Esther made herself over, because she was almost a teenager now. She wanted to embrace her feminine side for a while.


And she thought it was kind of weird that Storm, who's two years older than her, could be so childish sometimes.


Spike got smart-milked, and I guess he learned to walk, but I forgot to take any pictures of that. :(


I wish mornings had the actual feeling this picture seems to suggest. My sister Toni like just... bounces out of bed in the morning, and sings in the shower, while I'm struggling to remain awake by focusing on the sound of my alarm clock. Sometimes I don't even wake up, I just dream that I try to turn the alarm off, and that I hand it to various people to help me. Then Mom comes into my room, rips my blanket off, and screams that the bus is coming in five minutes. Then I miss the bus, and Dad takes me to school while sulking all the time because he had to get out of bed for that. Dad's natural cicadian rythm is noon to 4am, and he hates having it disrupted.


Poor Spike was left in Karen's clammy grip while his family were out. I mean, Milly was home on maternity leave, but she was OUT too in her bed.

Then Karen entered a vegetative state in front of the fridge, and stood there just twitching for a few hours.


Pyson was happy and nervous about his first day in the private school Instituto Educativo de Don Sebastian Guillermo.

Lark was just happy about her first day of any school. It made her feel older.


Milly was sad, because she'd never have 100 children.


Karen woke up from her fridge nap and blundered into the sauna in her wool cardigan and flannel skirt. Was it mean to hope that she'd get heatstroke in there?


Rilly's academic lifestyle has taken a great toll on her relationships. :( The worst part was her dad saying he didn't want their relationship to be a burden to her.


Ohai, here's Artsy Macklin! If you don't remember, he's Brazen Modesty and Haynes' son.


Lark's not always super nice to Dino. I hope she didn't latch onto him because she thinks he's easy to bully. :(


Lark has low nice-points. That's why she's been put in a monster T-shirt, as a warning to other kids. It says "Veggie Monster," but half of it's out of the picture.


Polly entered her book-reading phase. Girls between 10 and 13 are the most avid readers, or so I've heard. It was kind of opposite with me, though. I read a lot from 7 to 10, and then I started writing instead and didn't read as much.


Storm was the kind of child who's mostly interested in animals.


I don't think weeding was Pyson's main interest, but he found a certain satisfaction in ripping them out by the root.


Anakin's one of those very clean kids, and he hopes it will help him score Heir Points.


In case any children are reading this, I just want to explain what the pattern on Spike's track suit is. Those are envelopes, that people used to send letters before e-mail and twitter. Even my sister Jolene had a pen-pal when she was like 11. They sent each other drawings and stickers and stuff. So in case you thought those were symbols of something evil and dangerous, they're not. At least I don't think they are, there's a lot of stuff I don't know yet.


Spike won't be mean or clean.


Rilly got her first LTW, and went PermaPlat. :) She rolled a new LTW to become a game designer, but she'll have to stay in a top position for a while because the Branch isn't swimming in money like the Village is. They still have soooooo much landscaping to do on their lot it's almost not funny.


And the best time to improve her neglected relationships with people would be right then.


Artsy Mack and his cousin Misty Stonehouse (She's Tory and Bronwyn's daughter) had to entertain each other while the Branch kids had their vegetal therapy. When kids are on the merry-go-round they often forget to go home.


Storm was exasperated about the amount of homework!


Anakin asked PQ for help with his assignment. Lark was in no shape to even attempt it.


Nettie came to visit. :)

From certain angles Spike looks a bit like Dobby, don't you think?


Cleo Petra is a very clean sort of dog, who doesn't need to be bathed every other day like some. Orlando was very happy to be a cat, though. He couldn't understand how Cleo Petra was so brave.


Community Life! :D


Milly was soooo pregnant!


Full term, actually!


The first baby had alien teal skin like her father, and yellow eyes.


They named her Mandelina Nature, but they'll call her Mandy for short.


Milly: Please hold her, Rilly. I've got another one making its debut imminently.


The twin was also a girl, this time with all of Milly's genetics.

ALSO, I'D LIKE YOU ALL TO KNOW THAT I HAD TO RE-ROLL THIS BIRTH 21 TIMES JUST TO GET TWO GIRLS!




Her name is Darwendy Symona. It was hard to find a good combination, so they gave her a mix-and-match name. She'll go by Wendy, because it sounds good as the twin of Mandy.

And now there will be no more babies here for a while, methinks!


Milly immediately started thinking of grandchildren! :O


There was waffles with strawberries and cream for breakfast again. In our family we only have corn flakes, because it's the most challenging thing everyone who's not Toni manages to chew and swallow.


Milly taught Lark homework before school.


Karen tried hard to remember what it is you do when you've got that feeling that something's about to fall out through the bottom of your torso.


Pyson brought Wiliana over after school, and I realised that she looked all wrong. She's TA's Sim so I don't know her that well, okay?


There wasn't enough weed for all the kids to get their fix!


Storm: Finally! :D


Misty visits almost every day. It's so sad that the kids are usually too sad to play with their friends!


She was invited to their aquatic therapy session, though.


Apparently Zandie and Butch were there too! O.O


Finch Finnigan wanted to join the Community because he had problems kissing women.


He could probably make a great contribution.


Wiliana wanted to adopt pets, and Pyson told her everything he knew about cats and dogs.


Anakin almost died from homework. :(


It's too bad there's no active pet trainer career in Sims 2.


Pyson: Did you guys do homework yet?


This was what the Boy Bunker looked like before they had to rearrange it to fit in a bed for Spike. Pyson had the bunk above Anakin.


The pumpkins were ripe! :)




Do you think Spike's got potential? I kinda do.


PQ loves spending sanity time with his fellow wild animals. :D


Rilly thought Finch was hot, and not just because he was in a sauna!


Pyson tried figuring out how babies worked, in case he was expected to have some.


Polly Esther: Is this safe?


Pyson assessed how much competition Spike could turn out to be. He concluded with "not enough," but time will tell.


There's only one thing Renfield fears.

LMAO I don't know why I said yes.


Karen talked to Adana about genie lamps. She didn't know what happened to the Dead Matchmaker.


Karen: She may be in the cemetery, in one of the ancient new graves.

Adana: That would make so much sense! :D


Adana's just a regular teenager in this reality, not the super-athlete her original version is.


Lark: I GOT AN A+!

Luzy Hanby: Oh great. Now you won't have to mop up nanny-pee for a living. Oh wait... You may still have to do that, if your high school concelour advices you that you have a natural talent for colour-coordinated culinary arts journalism, and convinces you to take it as a custom Masters' degree.

Lucy's still salty about that.


PQ: Whooooooooo!

Lucy: Yeah, my parents were happy too, when I graduated from Cambridge.


I'm not joking about Misty coming over almost every day. She all but lives there!


Dino ran to hug his Mom, just to be sure he hadn't become invisible from all the skulking out of frames he'd done early in his life.


Suddenly it was time for the FINAL FACE REVEAL for the Branch in this generation! :O


Spike grew up just in time to join the occasion.


The adults decided to wait until the next day, because there was a lot of cheering up of the older children needed.


It would probably have been more fun if it was darker out, but the fog helped make it mysterious.

It kind of reminds me of how Australia's national Anthem has a line that goes "In mystery's haze, let's harvest maize." This must be what mystery's haze looks like.


The giant old ruins just appeared at some point. No one questioned it because that was useless and would give no answers.


And for those of you who've been waiting to see teen Storm...


VIOLÁ here she is!


She rolled Knowledge Aspiration (PQ v proud), but she went kind of shallow on what she likes in dudes. I think she prefers them without undies?


Karen had started cooking supper. OK, it saved Milly from having to do it. And saved everyone from eating something PQ had made, because he's never found time to learn cooking. :(


So Elys has adopted Brittany Parker?


Karen almost starved to death while cooking the tropical ribs. x(


Orlando found a nest of Iberian Garden Pixies, and he brutally deported them from his domain.


Renfield's prolly the kind of cat who prefers the dirty laundry to the clean.


Milly and PQ hoped Spike wouldn't feel less than his siblings, because he was going to public school in a gangster outfit.


It was hard for Milly to accept that she'd never have a helpless baby ever again.


They tried to cheer up the babies, so they could grow up happy and be in the mood for skilling.


Milly wanted to do the ceremony while the kids were at school, so they wouldn't see her cry.


Wendy was first.


Mandy was right behind.


PQ: Wow, she looks almost just like me!


Wendy's original face was good enough as it was, but Mandy got some DNA treatment.


And then both of them got potty training.


This is Storm's teen makeover. :) Her theme colours are blue, green and yellow.




I was so good at taking lots of baby pictures of the older kids, and then I took almost none of Spike. Of course both of the girls got the purple kitty PJs. I don't get why they all get those. They're a default replacement of those BG sleeper onesies, and previous kids have worn all the versions of the originals.


Andre invited himself to lunch. He's a wolf, they have no one to teach them manners.




PQ extended the vegetable garden 3X so all the children could take part in the edutainment.


Anakin and Dino looked for UFOs (and maybe Peter Ottomas) instead.


Cleo Petra was happy to take a bath. :)


Wendy wasn't happy at all. :(


Mandy was ready to learn skills, though.


PQ took responsibility of teaching her.


Rilly taught Wendy, because Milly was unconscious in bed again.


In Anakin's bed to be exact. Pyson forgot to lock the door, and then this happens.


Mandy's education was a success. :) Wendy was too tired to finish, but at least she got half-way there or something.


PQ always tried to find time to smell the flowers. You shouldn't take that advice as a rule of law, though. My friend Trixie heard that when she was like seven or eight, and she thought it meant that she had to do it every time she saw a flower, or else she was a bad person. So she was always late for everything because she compulsively sniffed fields of dandylions. Then she had to go to therapy to learn to be less literal.


Confession time: When I get traffic jams like this, I teleport everyone to where they're trying to go. I know that's cheating, so I hope it's not a deal-breaker for too many of you guys. :(


Skip told that pumpkin vine he's pointing at about his A+ maths test.


Dino: LOL! Mom and Dad need to get him into our school ASAP!

Surprise update yayayayaaay!! ERRRRRMAGERRRRRSH PHOTON QUNDER! He is so prime lol! Bingo and Rain are very proud of him and alllllllll their grandkids. Rain is pleased that so many of her grandkids have inherited her otherworldly hair gene.

I was kinda bummed when Spike was born with that face, yeah. x( Because it kinda feels like a bit of a defeat to have to transplant faces. At least now we know they DID have a baby born like that, and it matters less exactly who it was.

And it's been a while since I've had a lobonanny in a household, I won't say that I've missed their antics, such as standing for hours doing nothing, but it's fun to see them in other people's games ^^

While I hate how useless the nannies are, and especially Karen, I like a bit of chaos and derp to happen. And I know the readers love it when a legacy decends into chaos, so I gotta deliver. x)
