The Sheiler Uglacy - Bobus Update: The Eco Warriors!

HiiiiiiiiiiiiIIIIIIIIIIIii my Peepz! This is Raelynn! Remember I said that we'd be taking a trip to see the Eco Warriors, and what they're up to? Yeah, let's do that right now! :D

I don't have a Halloween Sims project planned like MK'la does, but there will be some kind of Halloweeny updates throughout the next month. And maybe into November, who knows! So without further ado...




Zizzie Zandie was calling her Mom (who's Brazen Modesty in case you've already forgotten), because she'd promised that she would.

Zandie: Hold on, Mom... Buffy's having some sort of happy fit. I need to see if she's alright.


Studs Axalotl had lost face. :O Normally that's kind of shameful, but in the Community they were understanding about it.


Dino: Wow, the sentry's attacking! It must be Anakin! I don't think we have other enemies?

No it was just taking a test spin. x)


Haynes came by to see his daughters (Zandie and Summer), and started peer-pressuring Ernest into having children.

Haynes: Your parents really want to become grandparents.


It's really easy to teach the pets to pee outside when that's where you live. Then you can use positive reinforcement every time.


Studs: I know this isn't polite, but I need to use your computer. There's stuff I can't browse from home, because my son (Carlos) is the head of all the spy intelligence in the country.

Miguel: Don't google sordid things on our computer, though!

Studs: Relax, it's nothing naughty. I just need to find out what's new about Polybius. Carlos gets mental if I mention it.


Yes, that's an old guy from the Garden Club. I bet he's very interesting.

Oooooh, but that gives me an idea! You know how there's something wrong with the Village garden, and everyone thinks it's horrible? At best they've got like a half environment bar when they're outside. They could invite the Garden Club over to do a review, and maybe they'd tell them what's wrong. :D


Dino: My family's all BFFs forever, except Anakin.


Studs: Oooh, I found something! O_O


But then the Sentry charged for realz!


Anakin: You can't do this, I'm a disabled child!


Sentry: *frritzzzzzzzzzzz*

Anakin: Owowowowaiaiaiaiow!


Anakin: I'LL TELL DAD!


Summer: Don't worry, Mom. He's fine. The Sentry only has like 50 Volts of charge. Yeah, Dad's here. BTW, Ernest says hi.


Haynes was chagrinned by the stuff Studs had uncovered on the conspiracy forums.


Suddenly... this happened!

Jack (Is he still there or is he back?): I guess that Ernest guy took your talk about kids seriously, eh?

Haynes: YOU THINK THIS IS THE TIME AND PLACE FOR THIS, ERNEST??

Storm: Oh no, the twins will definitely have noticed! This is soooo awkward.

Sorry about that, but Ernest kind of had low aspiration, and he wanted hanky-panky with his lawfully wedded spouse.

A very embarrassed Ernest played chess with Dino, to appologise for making stuff cringy.


Sadly, Summer still had the hotz for him. Despite he was married and all. She flirted suggestively.

Storm: Oooh drama and intrigue!


Oh, yeah. Remember when Nettie snog-faced Jetsam, and it wasn't cheating? THIS WAS! Like, I noticed that Ernest had gone PermaPlat, and I wondered when that had happened exactly. And then I noticed THIS. Dude, Summer just flirted with Ernest for a second and it's an affair?!?!


Anyway, Buffy's PP too. They've been very happy in their lives. :D


Valentina lead a study-session with the twins, to help motivate them.


Fish is a very important source of vitamin D, protein and essential oils, and so they dog out a pund for fishing. The Lucky Trolls felt such at home when they were fishing.


Storm kept her parents updated on how they were doing.


Actually they're both kind of mature for their age now, and want to skill all the time. I think they're going to have Knowlege as their second Aspiration, like so many of their femily before.


Zandie had lots of study time at night too. Her first LTW is to max all the skills, and then maybe she'll want a job to use them.


PET TAX.


I... uh, think Ernest liked Valentina's serenade? Oh and that annoying stray called Allegra has decided she lives there. She's there all the time, so you just know there's going to be a fight at some point, because she's an asshole.


The twins were getting good at fishing.


In the golden afternoon Modesty decided to come over and see how they were all getting on.

Summer: Is this the first time Mom's met Miguel?! He lived in the Village for five years or what, before we moved here.

Buffy: That's possible because he's very shy.

LOL the hill behind them is so tall that it goes into the clouds. It looks like the Highway to Heaven.


Awwww, the pets took a little nap together. But they trapped Storm in her tent for hours, and she was getting hungry. :O


Ernest started learning how to play the violin for extra creativity skills. He's not a celebrity chef yet, and he needs some more points.


Wow, Lugo knows how to use the toilet!


Summer: Go away, Gamer Guy. I'm bonding with my mother!


Oh no, what has Aylatani done now??


Awwwww, Poppy misses her cool older cousins!

BTW, a stupid chance card, or like voting poll at work in the story, made Miguel get demoted to campaign manag3r. He's probably going to be depressed for a while.

He stopped crying, and finished preparing whatever it was. Then he put it on the BBQ and started crying again. Then it caught fire.


They managed to put it out before their equopment got damaged, but now everyone was stinky.


Storm really wants a wolf as her companion. Andre seems very nice as wolves go, so he's the prime candidate.


It was a very important day in the life of the older twins! :D Ernest still had a promotion to go, but he was getting there! Buffy remembered that she'd had a very strange dream the night before.


Buffy: It was Miguel, Ernest and me. We were in this place at the foot of a hill, where there were some old grave stones. It was foggy and rained. There were dead trees and some kind of a pumkin patch behind us.


Buffy: A lot of people we knew were there too, but they were standing off in the distance.


Buffy: I wondered why someone was buried out there, and not in San Miguel. And there was a scary black well shrouded in the fog. I turned around and saw it, and I got a feeling of dread and uneasiness emmanating from it.


Buffy: Our estranged sister Marnie was there. That white tanktop she's always wearing had become tattered at the hemline. Monty was there too, and Bronwyn. Even Quincy and that guy who grows spiders in his white-guy dreads.


Buffy: At the exit we found Dino and Skip. They were talking about camping there and see if anything supernatural was happening.

Dino & Skip: COOOL!


Buffy was interrupted in her captivating narrative by her mom who'd come to congratulate her on her first LTW.


Jimbijimbi came by to visit too. Derpy really liked her. :) Yeah, Derpy had followed Nettie there, because she's Derpy's favourite ever human.


There was something very strange going on across the street, though. O_O The night before there had certainly not been tall dark cliffs and a giant oak surrounded by pumkin vines there. A delegation of the bravest went to investigate. They took the car in case they had to evacuate quickly.


Storm and Zandie stayed by the road until they transformed. They felt safer in their wolf forms.


Rumpor Kreatura had also gotten the memo that something even stranger than usual was happening.


Brazieres lit the way between the dead trees, through a dark, deep valley.


They came to an old, creaky house built from stone, with a tower keeping watch through its windowless walls. (No seriously, I forgot to put in windows.)


Outside, they were greeted by an old dog, who... did nothing. He was just a giant plushie that had been given a generous spray with waterproofing sealant. It was very strange, but it made Buffy desire to own a wolfhound. Maybe she could adopt that Max fella.


There was also a fake tabby cat sitting on a table near the door. Strange plants grew along the fence that lined the small front porch.


The heavy wooden door swung open and revealed an inviting warm light. They knew that the old house was a safe place to seek shelter.


Inside they found freshly made porkchops on the counter, with a note that told hungry travellers to help themselves and feel like home. In stories it always says to not take food from Faeries, because then you become one of them. But this house was clearly not inhabited by Faeries, but more like some kind of herbal witch?


Rumor was very perplexed by the meaning of it all.


Then of course freaking Babette Weatherly showed up and expulsed some roaches.

Summer: Is this your place?

Babz: Nah, too shabby. I'm more of a gothic glam sort of person.


There was some really nice art on the walls, though. Zandie thought it reminded her of computer games like Before Dawn and stuff.


On a hollow log there was a great owl keeping watch with yellow eyes like the full moon.


The twins don't get tired until like 4am, so they stayed out playing catch into the night. It was so nice with no Anakin around.


Phil and Jetsam came to hang out. Phil loved the community atmosphere that often exists in places that give shelter from the darkness and unknown. It reminded him of The House of Silent Despair, which is a portal between worlds and exists in a few places.


And that Simon dude who's not Maikana's boyfriend came by. SUmmer needs a boyfriend like yesterday if she's going to stay in the same camp as Ernest, but she only had one bolt with Simon.


I dunno, sometimes that's enough.


Suddenly a huge weeping willow appeared in the middle of the corn fiel.


Skip: Oh wow, is that a vengeful ghos?t

Rumor: It's a Greater Reaper. Don't panic, they can't take you just like that. But yeah, they're one kind of vengeful ghosts.


Phil loved the atmosphere of the place.


Zandie found the graves Buffy had been talking about. A chill went down her spine and general back area. Who was buried here, and why? Apart from the fact that they were obviously dead and needed to be buried, I mean. But why here, and not in the cemetary?

And by that I mean that using stacked OMSPs to get that dang raven in place was such a pain that I'm not adding any more! It would be cool to have a whole murder of crows in a tree, though. Maybe on another lot, where the tree's more accessible, because this one's on top of a spiked hill.


Phil went to tend the pumkin patch.


Rumor, Jestam and the Simon fella tried to communicate with the Greater Reaper, but he was stuck on a gravestone by ectoplasm. Oh man, that's gross to think about! Are ghosts like giant slugs!? EWWWWWWWWW!


A lone canid shape peered down from the top of the hill.


Spike talked to Most Wanted Person Cinnamoon Spooner. He wanted to know if she was named after the only two songs by Type O Negative that he knew (Cinnamon Girl and Wolf Moon), but she wasn't. Spike doesn't listen much to gothic rock, he's more of a John Mayer sort of kid.


Zandie had two bolts for Simon. Let's hope Summer's not gonna have any more interest in him if he starts dating her sister. (And I've made a potential BF for Summer, but he's not in the game yet.) I think he may be poisonous, though? All her motives sank a lot after she'd checked him out. Same thing happened to Summer, just not as much IIRC.


Simon told terrible dad jokes that he'd learned from his dad, and Storm didn't know how to respond to them.


The next morning the fog and darkness lifted to reveal new visitors. There was a creepy treeman and a huge freaking wolferdigger.

Green Reaper: Oh dear.


The wolferdigger was very fierce. :O But it was scared of the wolfhound, because it was too scared to come close enough to see that it was fake.


Look at that criminally insane face!


There was a lively discussion about what to do about all the new apparitions.


Jimbi remembered that her brother Buddy Shagrin had once defeated an old Werewolf King with a sword, back on Isla Tropicana, and that it's wolf spirit had transfered to him. Fortunately the wolferdigger was nowhere near as tough. It just growled and waved its arms, and then it ran away. I'm not saying that Jimbi wasn't as brave as Buddy! All I'm saying is that this one wasn't willing to die. The one Buddy fought was very old and needed to transfer its spirit to a new host. That's why it had nothing to lose, and this one had.

Ohai Marisol.


Then Summer - who sadly has ONE NICE POINT - said something that made Rumor smack her silly. Oh no, why can't the Community get along??????


Rumor appologised, so there wouldn't be a huge new feud for Friday to grieve over.


Lonzo: Nothing you've heard about me is true.

Green Reaper: *gasp* He's lying!


It was too much for Ettie.

Green Reaper: Ooops?


Lesser Reaper: FREE HUGS.

That was the straw for Finch. :C


Ettie's eyes had rolled up into her head, it was even creepier than the ghosts.


Storm borrowed a sword and chased away the ugly treeman.


Ettie: What sort of a place is this? I'm a troll and I know a lot about the things that walk between worlds, but I don't understand the significance of most things in this place. It's all new to me.

Turf Star: Yeh, my genetic dinosaur memory's not helping.


Lesser Reaper: Hug me!

Ettie: Where are your manners? You can't just come on strongly to people like this?!

Green Reaper: Oh deer...


Zandie: Yeah, no. I don't want Lonzo's hugs either.


Yeah, I think she should! :D


Turf Star and Fifi? Maybe?


Lesser Reaper: Help me, I'm stuck to this headstone! Let me grab you to pull myself free?!

Jill: Uuhh...


Oh no, a Skeletree had appeared. They're awful apparitions that shriek and moan like no tomorrow.


Ettie: I'm not surprised to see Lonzo's out again, but I'm very disappointed in my brother.


Suddenly everyone got terrible fashion sense and started T-posing.

Green Reaper: You must all leave! Now! Before time warps itself and undoes reality.


Zandie: It's hard to drive with my arms just floating around like this, and my shirt hovering in my face.

Storm: We're just going across the road, literally just turn the car around.

LOL I just noticed that their getaway car is a Ford Escape!


Zandie: Wow, that was a day full of weird.

Summer wasn't listening, because she was consumed by rage directed at a certain local cryptozoologist.


Storm: Y'all back in one piece?

Dino: Yeah, that was soooo cool! I bet Anakin hasn't ever seen anything like that!

Skip: But he's the only one who's broken his neck and almost been decapitated, so he probably still wins most life experience as usual.


Miguel got fat too. All the misery loves company, so it invited a few more pounds of itself. :(

Dino was wondering about there being buried jewellery in the spooky graves in the pumpkin place. He wasn't going to dig for it, because he's definitely not a grave robber, but he was worried that some might be.


Miguel thought his day couldn't get worse anyway, so he was up for an expedition to see what Buffy had dreamt about. He would have preferred to see her dream about going on a cruise to the Bahamas, but at least he got to step into his lover's head. Um, was that creepy?


Yeah, I dunno, but he suddenly got lots of points. Let's go.


BTW, Valentina got promoted. That's great. Now get in the car.


The American Mitchells were being romantic, because this was the best haunted house slash pumpkin patch they'd ever seen, and I bet there are some good ones in Texas.


PQ was there, paying attention to a cat named Taj. He'd heard that his kids have been over, but he'd missed them by just so much. Oh well, he can come over and visit any time.


The owl didn't warn Hank about Uncle Afolp. :(


The Eco Campers spent most of the night catching up on sleep in the mysterious tents, while PQ spent it trying to pet Tiffany and developing a really, really poor relationship with her.


Ohai there, guy who thinks Buffy's hot. You look kind of familiar. And I have to inform you that Buffy's taken, but there ARE some very available interesting women around here...


Buffy demostrated that she was happy in her marriage, just so no one would get any other impression.


Aww, here's Sebastian! Long time no see! <3 Liranda and Ian will need to visit Studs (Sebastian's his doggo) very soon.


Rilly dropped by, too. Buffy was happy to see her.


Guy From California: Hi, I'm Desmond. My friends just call me Des, and I'm originally from Isla Tropicana outside the coast of San Francisco.

Ernest: Cool, I've got lots of family from there! My name's Ernest Rugripper, but everyone just calls me Ernest.


I have no idea why PQ would rather sleep in that horrible shack when the tents have super comfortable beds with wizard space for lots of mattresses, but to each their own.


Marisol liked the mysterious Pumkin Place so much she came back. Sebastian was probably there with her. Luckily he didn't get in a fight with Aira.


Ernest got some aggro out on the treemen.


Ugh, I really don't want them to adopt Allegra, because she's so aggressive and I don't even really like her anyway. She keeps hanging around though, and I want her to stop being a stray. And you know... I feel like I can't just kill a dog the way I would a townie. :( But if they adopted her, then they could rehome her to the next townie who walked by, like Edgar did with Otis in the Wasteland. (In case you don't remember anything of the Edgarcy: Edgar adopted a golden retriever called Otis, to keep Doorstop company when everyone was out. But they didn't get along at all, so he had to rehome Otis.)


Ernest and Valentina felt a weird sence of romance between the dead faded flowers, the mist and the dark, looming shapes surrounding them.


Buffy had to teach Aira that trying to dig bones up from graves was not acceptable behaviour. There's a reason they never bring pets to San Miguel. O.o


Butch was catching up with his son Orbin Meloncramp. Who BTW is Buffy and Ernest's brother. Because Butch is their dad.


Istvan, who's Bibijimjim's husbando, was there too. They're married now. I played their family for a bit, and also Rumor and Archie's, but I haven't posted that update yet. Maybe it's long enough, I dunno. I may need some more pictures.


Butch had a territorial fight with another species of werewolf. It made him feel very Alpha. If only Nettie would consent to being his wolf queen, they could reign in much glory. But nah, Nettie's never going to want to be a werewolf.


Orbin: Yo, Grampa!

Friday: Yo, Grandson!

Orbin: Dad's here too, and the twins.

Friday: Cool, let's have a Community Meeting!


But that didn't happen. SUDDENLY... a horrible beast emerged from the tall dead grass and attacked Kennedy Cox!

Kennedy: OH NO IT IS THE SWAMPER HUSK!

He screamed it in that kind of voice you hear when you have a nightmare and someone's screaming in terror somewhere behind you.


Swamper Husk: *snarrrrrrrrlllllll*

They turned to see the eldritch face of a creature that shouldn't exist. Suddenly wolferdiggers and vengeful ghosts seemed rather pleasant companions.


Ernest: RUUUUUUUUUN! Everyone inside!


Oh no, it followed them! D:




The Swamper Husk chased them all around the walls and furniture until they came to the door and managed to slip outside and leg it.


Scary creatures were moving slowly through the corn field.


Valentina had to carry Ernest to the pumpkin patch because he was very scared.


Green Reaper: *sigh* Have you been hugging people again?

Lesser Reaper: No, I'm hugging this walking tree.


Taj was a very fierce wild cat, and he attacked the Husk and drove it back.

Buffy: This is a lot worse than Diaper Man!


Suzannah's wardrobe disorder had reached peak. They would have to get their old robes back.


In the safety of the old cottage, everyone felt the need for some dinner before going home. But suddenly something happened to Ernest. All his motives suddenly dropped to red! D: I thought for sure he was gonna die, and that someone would resurrect him because all his best friends were right there. But they saved his life with an apple, and then he was put to rest in a tent until he got strong enough to walk to the car.

Friday: I think he may have been in contact with some poisonous plant.


Valentina fell over in a rain puddle, with her eyes open in shock. Yeah, time to go home, I think.


Green Reaper: Oh Leona... :C


Ernest tried to get into the front seat, but Aira bounced in before him, and he had to walk around to the back seat while he was almost dead.


Anyway, they made it home.

Storm: CAN'T YOU SEE I'M TRYING TO HAVE A BATH??! D:<

Ernest: Yeah, excuse me. I only ALMOST DIED tonight!

Storm: YOU DON'T SMELL LIKE *ALMOST!*


Anyway! Ernest lived, and the next day Summer found her career. So this is a good place to leave off, because now Tawny Holly needs to get herself on an expedition! :D

Wooowww somebody actually rolled a want to become a witch! Mine and Sams sims are all obsessed with becoming werewolfs, so they never roll anything else.

LOL poor Anakin! I think he needs to be shipped off as s oon as he can, because he's a hazard to himself! Maybe when he starts his mission in life he'll mature so much he'll lose his death wish.

I think Valentina was at work when Summer and Ernest had AN AFFAIR in the veggie garden. They're smart enough not to be like that right in front of her.

Yeah I was a bit bummed that my first Pumpkin Patch wasn't user friendly, but at least I got some pictures I could use. :D BTW I'm making an extra patch, which will have a different feeling to it, and will be more family friendly. Because I've been in the Halloween spirit for a month already!

Maybe Victoria Winters would like to come and hang out in the witch's house, with Barnabas and Dr. Hoffman? :O

Summer probably thinks Diaper Man is a better cryptid than Tentacleye Monstro. She lacks a sense of perspective!

I sure hope Fifi marries into Generation 9! But if she doesn't, she needs to be in the family otherwize!

It was quite a surprise when Des showed up, LOL! But at least he's out and about now!

Monty should take Ethel Fialka there for a date!

The Swamper Husk is a terrible beast, and it's not even the only cryptid in the area!!!!!
