Hiiiiiiiiiiiii my Peeeepz! This is ya gurrl Raelynn! :D It's October, and that means SPOOKY SEASON! Everyone who's like me, and loves stuff that's moody and morose feel very happy this time of the year. And those who don't... well, they probably have depression right now, but at least Christmas is coming up with lots of lights and good spirits.

So in this episode, we're going to see Tawny Holly visit the spooky pumpkin patch that suddenly emerged in Arenanueva. One of her old friends is also back in town, so who's to know if maybe they'll run into each other. :O




Oh gosh, I'm SO sorry we have to start with a chance card, but clearly it was very perilous. The black-ops were hunting Geri in the parking lot. D: She made a run for it.


Luckily she survived, and now she's Mayor. Well, not of Arenanueva. They gave her a small town called Despondence, Nebraska. She doesn't have to actually live there to be the mayor, because hardly anyone else does either. But she saved the whales!


But it was good news to Geri, because now she was PermaPlat. :D Now she'd finally have time to have a life, and maybe find love and stuff.


Oooor not, because now she wants to become the Law. Wow, she's really more like Tippy and Friday than any of their biological children have ever been!


Finally we get to the pictures! Holly had found her way to the mysterious house at the end of the pumpkin field. She'd had a dream where she'd gotten a very strong feeling that she needed to be there. Then she'd get a sign of something important.


She was surprised to see that the guard dog wasn't real, but there was something alert and benevolent in its eyes that made her realise it was more than just an oversized plush.


There were already a small convention in the house. Aylatani and Tynice were there, and Eisley Jean. Oh and Turf Star had released Helmut, the fake German, for the weekend. He'd put a GPS and hidden micro-camera in his flower crown, to see what he was up to when no one suspected him.


Orbin was there too, so it seemed Tynice and him (they're married) were on a romantic getaway.


"Oh Orbin!"

"Oh Tynice!"

"OH ORBIN!"

"OH TYNICE!!"

"ORBIIIIIN!!!"

"TYYYYYYYYYYNICE!"


"OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAH!!!1!"

Holly woke up from frantic screaming in the next tent, and got out to investigate.


Holly: What are you doing?! Fireworks are still banned for a month yet!


Arcxhie told Aylatani about a prophecy Rumor and him had seen on Discovery Channel.

Archie: Have you noticed anything unusual about this place?

Aylatani: Well, sort of. There are weird plants here, and that skeleton guy just tried to hug a girl.

Archie: Yes, but I mean more about the location itself?

Tani: I'm not sure I follow?

Archie: We're in SPain, right? Well, this place isn't. It's in Pennsylvania.


Tani: Really!? I've never been to Pennsylvania before!

Archie: Me neither. They said on the show that several places in the world have merged, so now we are sometimes in two places at once. That's how we feel a lot of cryptids come to be dislocated. They walk out of the merge spot and become part of another dimention.


Tani: Oh, I think I'm standing in someone's face. Sorry!


Maikana: Mom, why are you crouching down in that shrub?

Tani: Just checking if this chick's still breathing. She is.

Maikana: Okay, so you're not hiding from the Grim Reaper?

Archie: It's just a Lesser Reaper, they can't do anything much more than saying "boo."


In this dimention, Tani has a good relationship with all her children.


Lonely Reaper: I want a mom to hug me. But I don't have a mom, I'm not a mammal.


I'm putting this picture on the wall in their houses, when I learn how to make custom paintings. I've tried, but something didn't work. :C


Tynice: Oh Orbin!

Orbing: OH TYNIXE!!!


Maikana: Wait, isn't Guy Fawkes' Night in November, or what?


Maikana: Yo, somebody!


Wakerilda Outlawe felt like experiencing this odd phenomenon would suit her wolf sensibilities. Holly would be happy to see her, too.

Vaniessa: Oh, it's you.




Gordon Jetsam: HOW DARE YOU, SIR???

Lonely Ripper: Hug me.


Rilly: Oooh, coolsome! I've been wanting to join the Gamer career! You're the best, Weedy!


Aylatani: Look. I've been married to some questionable men in the past, but at least they were physically human?

Sulliven: I'm not questionable! *eyebrow waggle*

Aylatani: Sure, but I'm married again.

Sulliven: Call me one day if you're not!


Rilly started practicing for a career in VR sports by slaying a malevolent sylvan.


Then she took sword lessons with the wolferdigger, who was just there to troll and get people to fight with him. (Wolferdiggers don't have internet.)


Meanwhile, Aylatani ventured deep into the cornfields, where she thought she saw an unusual sight.

Hangon, where's Holly? This update is supposed to be about her.


She wasn't in the backyard.


I guess she was still sleeping. In the mean time, Aylatani was catching butterflies.


Weatherman: I thought this was supposed to be a haunted house, but I haven't seen any ghosts here.

Tani: That's probably for the best, with everything else that's going on. One of my descendents was almost killed here by a venomous plant, while he was inside the cabin and nowhere actually near it!

Weatherman: That sounds very dangerous. This is not a place to bring children!


Oh, here's Holly! She was... studying. Yeah, the place was dangerous, and she felt that if she was going to hang out there for a while, she should try to stay safe. And she needed points for her promotion, sooo... Maikana joined her for a geek party.

Actually, "geek party" sounds like it could be lots of fun, as long as homework WASN'T included. Watching cartoons and stuff about aliens and ghosts, and talking fandom while stuffing our faces with candy? I'd be up for that!


Suddenly it was night again, and Rilly met Morris outside for a wolf catch-up. I wonder how much Morris actually likes being a werewolf. Part of me hopes he doesn't at all, because it was supposed to be punishment for being a twerp to Monty.


Lorena and Carlos were out on a weekend outing too. Don't worry, they won't be you-know-what'ing in the tents.

Zizzy Zandie apparently hadn't gotten enough of the spooketies available, because the next day she came to hang out.


Then suddenly it was night again, and she was pilfering the pumpkins. I dunno, the pictures may have been in the wrong order? Holly was there for a while though, so it may just have been a boring day. Yes, at the super-paranormal pumkin patch! I looked at the timestamps of when the pics were saved, and this is supposed to be here. O_O


Clayton the fugitive showed up to mingle and see if there were any sociopaths around. I mean, there was Babette, and several vengeful spirits, but I think he was looking for humans with bad attitudes.


I'm in the Halloween mood, alright? :D Oh, and that cat is deco. They can't adopt it.


Holly was getting into the spirit of the season too. She thought it was an enchanting night.


Rilly: What are you looking at, Simon?

Simon: I dig the graphic on your t-shirt!

Rilly: Yeah, it's pretty cool. That's why I'm wearing it. BTW, this handsome guy righ here is my boyfriend.

Simon's dad was thinking about engagement, but I kind of hope it was his own, because that particular son may actually be a little poisonous to people? I don't mean in personality, he seems nice enough. It's just that people's stats drop when they interact with him sometimes.


Edward liked Zandie's "Rachel Green" make-over. How creepy.


Be careful, Zandie! That guy may be a stat-vampire. (LOL, not to be confused with a Lestat vampire, who's a less sparkly (and more pervo) version of Edward Cullen.)


But just talking to him seemed safe enough, so maybe it's just flirting they can't do. And maybe it's just on this lot?


Holly: OH MY GOSH SUZANNAH WHERE ARE YOUR CLOTHES? WHERE IS YOUR BODY???!




Beauty Spell! :D Autumn can be soooo pretty!


Holly hung out and waited for her special sign.


Darlene Mitchell went Karen on the Goth of Christmas Past, for scaring her delicate sensitivities.


Wait, this is Skip Squeemril, and he's at the beach! Yeah, I remember that Holly went to the beach to relax an de-creep a bit before heading home, but I thought I had more pictures from her time in the spooky cabin. Oh well.


She met her great-uncle Derex. (Her grandfather is Buddy Shagrin, who's Derex' brother. Buddy's daughter Pebbles is Holly and Tory's mom. She lives in Milano.)


Bibijimjim was there too, making Aylatani suffer. D:


Holly hung out by the water with Zarinda, and told her about her strange experiences over the weekend and some days. Then she decided to head up to the cafe for a healthy snack before tent-time.


And then... suddenly.

Des: Holly? Tawny Holly Scheiler?

Holly: Des Goodson???


Des: Yes, it's me! Wow, you haven't aged a day since I last saw you!

Holly: You have, in the best way! You've grown up all handsome and suave!

GO AWAY, JOE CARR! WE HAVE A CEMETERY!


Joe: PWOAHRR!

Holly; Go away, Joe Carr.


Skip met his mom and hung out, and she explained that people on his grandmother's planet didn't only have potatos. So now that wasn't something he needed to worry about in case he found a way to visit.


THREE BOLTS. :D


Holly: Wow, I feel just like I did that night we first fell in love, so many years ago and so far away.


Des is a very proper sort of guy. He didn't like it when Holly tried to grope his bum while they were slow dancing.


This picture just made me think of this song I posted below. But then I listened to the whole thing, and it sounds like it's more about breaking up. So yeah, not their theme song.

Perri: Awwww, aren't you both precious. Don't go crazy now kids, and get married or something silly.

Holly: LOL I'm a Romance Person! Marriage isn't on my list today. But you don't seem like a person capable of sincerely be happy for other people, or even to comprehend love much at all, so goodbye Pernicia.


They shared a romantic kiss in the golden morning sun.


And another in the not romantic bathroom. Hey, you've gotta make your own magic in life!


Des came by to leave Holly a date bouquette, aww!


But something was happening in the village. Drent Pobo was feeling expansional. :O


Suddenly lots of hormones started surging through his brain, and all he could think was "durrrrrrrrrrrrrr..."


He rolled Romance, and decided that if he was ever getting a waifu she'd be a tradfemme who was good at cleaning, and did arts and crafts like embroidery and sewing curtains that match the bedspread. Then he'd probably find her boring and frumpy. At least he wouldn't leave her for a blonde.


Yes! Yes she is!


Des, you really didn't have to! But hey, Holly's going to the Bee Farm with Modz, so now they have a piano to start their furniture collection.


The sprinkler is very popular!


Yass, next promotion is Hall of Famer! :D Holly's life's looking up!


It was a bittersweet time in the Village, because they were sending off another of their children. Artsy Mack would be growing up soon, and he'd promised his gang that he'd take a final trip with them somewhere. He'd chosen just to take the teenagers, because the pumkin patch wasn't safe for anyone younger. The older kids had spent a lot more time with Mack anyway, so this was harder for them.


Drent Pobo had bought a leather jacket and started going by Drent, because that sounded punk.


The sun was setting as they arrived.


Orlando Centowski: I expected there to be a fortune teller with magic lamps in one of those tents, but they're just for camping in.

Mira: It would make sense if the Dead Matchmaker was in there!


Someone had decorated the whole place for a Halloween party. Misty thought it was amazing.

Misty: My house in Ireland's gonna be just like this!


Some mighty strange plANts had shot up from the ground, but since this was the kids' first time there they didn't know that it was weirder than before.


"Off with their heads!"


Spooky little creatures with glowing eyes darted in and out between the dead bushes.


Lolaitan: Yo! Nice joint you've found here!


Lola: BTW, did you bring your hot uncle?

Misty: Sorry, no. He just gets into fights.


Lolaitan needs to be in the family, for real.


Artsy Mack was suddenly a little sad that he was moving away, because Lolaitan was super cool and he'd have loved to ask her out on a date. Well, if she'd agreed, anyway.


The weatherman hates Kennedy Cox, and it's probably for a good reason.


The Lonely Reaper tried to hug Finch. It was too much.


Cinnamoon: I'm gonna miss seeing the kid around, because he has potential.


Misty: Wow, this is chocolate cake. It really feels like a party here.

Lolaitan: Yeah, but I wish they'd added some pumpkin spice.


Storm came and joined the party too.


She loves the night, but she doesn't mind mornings either. Especially not mornings that have the surreal kind of light, inexplicably shining gold through a dark layer of bitter clouds, like that morning had.


She even got to stab a wolferdigger somewhere it hurt.


Green Reaper: Oh Istvan... You've seen worse than me.


Green Reaper: Am I truly so hideous that even a fierce child of the night is horrified by the sight of me?

Juan Reamon: I don't know. What do you look like underneath your hood?

Green Reaper: Not like anything, really. I don't have a head, not even a hole between my shoulders where a head should be. My entire physical manifestation concists of a scrawny torso that stops at the waist, because that's all I can approach with my limited relation to humanity. Lesser reapers can only recreate parts of the internal support rig.

Juan: Then how do you talk?

Green Reaper: I can make the air vibrate in certain patterns, which is how sound is produced.




Storm cried in the dead straw while Summer and Mack played a game of "hit the bat with a football." It was a very mean bat, so don't feel sorry for it. And don't go out throwing footballs at animals, because they're probably not supernatural entities in your neighbourhood. Storm wasn't upset about the Green Reaper, though. She had low aspiration. :C


It was very weird for Summer that her little brother would be gone for at least several decades.


Drent: I'll trade with you, if you're starting to regret it! Maybe the Elders haven't looked that closely at us.

Mack: Thanks for offering, but I'll be going.


Ernest was telling Salamandra how he'd laid in a tent almost dead, after having been like in the general vicinity of a poisonous plant, but Salamandra claimed the City Council had cleared all of those out by the use of drones.


The Halloween spirit started flowing through Summer, and she lost her fear of becoming a werewolf. Now only the desire to be one was left. :D Her mom's gonna be so happy!


Summer: Grrr! :D


Goth of Christmas Past: Good evening.

Salamandra: EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEK YOU HAVE NO FACE!


Zarinda: So you're going to stay with my twin sister and her husband?

Mack: Yeah, I mean that's a bit weird. She's like the ancestor of our entire family, and she looks 23. You're her twin and you look my age.

Zarinda: Sometimes I'm a little jealous of what she's achieved, but I'm the black sheep of the family and can do what I want with no pressure. So that's kinda cool.


Peter Simms felt something pinch his bum. :O


PQ came back to see if he knew any of the partying kids. He really wanted to see Dino and Skip, because he felt so bad about having to rehome them.


They all had a great time, but all good things must come to an end.


Mack looked around the neighbourhood where he'd grown up, and wondered when he'd see it again.


Later that night there was another special occasion. Mazzy was growing up. :D


She was a little disappointed that she'd been too young to go on her brother's final outing with the old gang, but there would be adventures for her too in the future.


She grew up very well. :)


Um, okay. She rolled Knowledge, but doesn't like guys who are too logical. Maybe she wants to be the Scully in the relationship, LOL!


For once the celebrating community took the Smustle party to the lawn. But there was probably someone dancing in front of the kitchen appliances too, I didn't check. x)


Randy London: THERE'S A NAKED MAN IN HERE!

Friday: Uhh, that's because...

Tippy: Because it's too hot in the water for him to wear swim shorts. He gets heat stroke really easily.

Friday: Yeah, that's it. I've got a doctor's note and all. (Note to self: Get a doctor's note that you can't wear swimtrunks, in case the copper actually demands to see it next time.)


Aren't they cute?!


Drent thought that now he had the chance to be a younger kid's role model, so he told Lucky that he'd be his big brother now that Mack was leaving.




Mack started a last Smustle. He'd probably dance it a lot in Isla Tropicana, he assumed. Especially in college!


Right, I was fixing the family tree!


The time had come.


Mack didn't even have time to blow out his candles before he started growing up. They just went out on their own. :O

Poppy: Uncle Monty, why are you preening?

Monty: I'm considering asking out a bird. As in she's actually part raptor.

Poppy: Cool! Maybe she won't beat you up!

Mazzy: Guess who's a werewolf now, LOL!

It was the first big wish she rolled!


Tory was a little concerned about his children's fashion sense, but he's from a different generation and doesn't understand.


Mazzy: Hi, Mom. I'm a werewolf! :)

Modz: Aww, I'm so proud of my baby! <3


Liranda and Ian wanted to stay another day in the Village, so Mack had time to say goodbye to everyone. He gave his little brother a lot of advice based on his own mistakes in life, and told him not to listen too much to Drent Pobo.


Because he's not quite right.


Mack: You've been a really good uncle, Uncle Monty. One day you'll be a pretty good dad, but you need to stop creating so much hate. When you raise children you need to do it with love and guidance, like when you were an uncle to us all.


Monty told Miranda about that he was looking for a special rare bird.


Mack: We'll send you many descendents from Isla Tropicana, so you'll be a huge family again. :D


The family business was blooming, LOL! Gettit?


Lucky: This is fun!

Bronwyn: Yeah, but be careful. Because if you use too much, the plants may get revenge! But that's never happened to anyone I know.


Oh, you're tired of garden pictures? Too bad, I'm not! :D


Friday: Our daughter Geri wants to walk a difficult and often unthankful path, the straight and narrow, the path of the Law. Now more than ever, we must be the parents she never had.

Tippy: And when she has children of her own, we must be the grandparents they never had.


Mack was going to miss his cats, but he promised to come back and visit them in the future. And he was looking forward to meeting the Scheiler cats on the island.


Fitness was a part of Tory's lifestyle now.


Mack: I will never forget what I learned about friendship by growing up here, and I'll never stop being your friend.


The Smustle lives!


Holly spent half the night on her sofa in her room, daydreaming about many romantic encounters with Des.


Liranda woke up safe and warm in her husband's arms, and was sad that she was leaving, but also happy to be taking another descendent home with them.


Liranda: It was very unfair that you got demoted, Tippy. Maybe Geri can do something about football being part of the official job description for the city council, when she becomes the Law.




I bet their neighbours just love hearing that chopper twice every day.


That's very nice of you, Ian. But y'all are going to the airport, like now.



Mack: Off to new adventures! :)


Misty: Yeah, I wish I was going to Ireland.

And it's so cool that they have 3 bolts now! They only had like 1 when they were teens, but now they've both matured and can enjoy a more mature and solid love. AND NOBODY ASKED U EITHER PERRIY!!

LOLHI, I'm suuuuuper late at replying! This is Raelynn, of course. School's been criminal these past few weeks! My English teacher Ashley is totally panicking over all the stuff we probably didn't learn last year. She's the kind of teacher who thinks missing knowledge about anything in the world is a fate worse than wisdom teeth! I fear that one day she'll bring Professor von Ball into the classroom, and we'll know she's lost the plot. Last time a teacher lost their mind we ended up with Ashley as his replacement, so I don't want to see who or WHAT would be tough enough to replace her!

I'm so happy that you think the pumpkin patch is pretty! It was so much fun making it!

Poor Aylatani, some people are just blessed with suckage. Not that Tani sucks, but it sucks to BE her a lot.

Holly's definitely happy to have Des back in her life, but neither of them are in a rush to get married and settle down. They're going to take it in their own pace, until the time is right for putting the rings on. But they'll see a lot more of each other soon, when they move to the Bee Farm.

Sam 4got to ask Tigeranne where she found those strange plants cuz she thinks they'd be neat for her alien colony subhood. Or are they from some spawner?

Lolaitan is v cool! She should definately be in the Community at the very least!

That piano's going to be so special to Holly and Des. They need to create a really romantic corner for it to sit in, with candles and flowers and stuff!

I know TA told Sam where the big plants are from, but the little ones are more of a mystery. All I know is that they're conversion from a game called Dragon Age, and that maybe they're by Kativip or Yolartut. TA thinks they came from a Russian forum.

It would be cool if Lolaitan maybe liked Django or Turf Star! Oh oh or Fresco, when he grows up!

MazzyWolf is so cute! I love her so much, and Modz is very happy to have a puppy that will stay with her and help save the bees!

The community wants to have many descendents come back, but they'll not have more than three heirs next time! :O The ambassadors will be very important people, though. They shouldn't feel bad.

Anakin is grown up now. I sent him to Sam, but I don't know if any of you have looked at him yet. He looks just the same, so no spoiler!

Des is the perfect admirer. I don't remember seeing a piano as a dating gift, and it's a very good one when you can just put it in your inventory and wait for the right moment to use it.

I'm worried about time-space continuum there. Two places coexisting [at first I wrote: coegzisting, and didn't see anything wrong about that], may be a sign of reality collapsing around them, just before the community has achieved some peace. Maybe Ger should regulate some issueas around time/dimentional travel, while she's still the Mayor?
Or maybe it's just that the veil of reality is thinner around this time of the year? I hope so. I love that Aylatani has good relationship with Maikana in this part of the multiverse, and I wouldn't want to lose it if somehow the entire Arenanueva collapsed into Pennsylvania.

There must be someone brave enough to hug the reaper. It's such a lonely existence when all you want is a hug, but people faint from fear as soon as they see you (and get stomped on by others).

Des is a solid guy! I'm so happy he came to Arenanueva, so Holly could stop dating losers! She'll be playing many romantic sonatas for him when they move to the Bee Sanctuary farm!

I'm not sure what Geri can do about the dimentional leak! She's not mayor of Arenanueva, just of Despondence, Nebraska, which has 19 inhabitants most of whom are ghosts. I guess she could stop those particular ghosts from coming to Spain, but first they'd somehow have to get to Pennsylvania, where the other side of the wormhole is. Friday has contacted a brilliant scientist and her ghostbusting gentleman friend to help contain it.
