Poor Everett. Suddenly being a teenaged individual of another species is tough on the best of us.

Melody: While you were busy staring mockingly at my amazing individuality, you've failed to notice that your shoes are wet.

Annie Riley: Oh, but I wasn't mocking! I love your hair! It's really cool when older people are punk. Oh... I'm standing in the water, ain't I?

Melody: Your Mom is raising some real geniuses, bless her.

All the other Sims in all the worlds pass around A Magnetic Attraction like it was the best book ever. (I see it as the in-world equivalent of 50 Shades.) The crazy woman, however, has good taste and reads The Warlock of Palladia.

JB loves piglets, and he wanted the children to learn more about their own (previous) species, so he got them some pets to care for. This is Porky. (Yes, he's technically a dog.)

Here's Potsy.

Aaaand Max & Albert.

Melody: JB, that one's a dog.

JB: Albert? No, he's not! He's a piebald pig. You've got a lot to learn about piglets!

Melody: He's a dog, James. Someone's pawned off a really ugly mutt on you.

JB: Doesn't matter. He'll be raised and loved as a pig.

Melody's got a dog of her own. This is Fifi. I think she's suppose to be a Maltese. She gets to live in the house, while the piglets (the actual four-legged ones) have to stay in their pen.

These two are called Boris and Butch. Originally, they were two really ugly mutants from the pound, who I thought would make good pets for such a relatively ugly family. (This was before the Magpies desensitized me to ugly.) Instead, I couldn't resist going into CAS and making them cute.

The Throttlewoods live in Twinbrook, near a fishing hole. There is a small pack of wild horses who like to spend the night there. I love the TS3 horses!

Let's look at that shape in the background...

A raccoon. Look at it, tippy-toeing its way towards someone's trash can!

This is how the house looks from the outside. It's on a lot called Watershed. I built the house a lot larger than it originally was, and removed most of the pond it was sitting in so they could have a back yard.

Melody got tired of only having mac & cheese and Goopy carbonara for dinner, and sent JB out to loot the community gardens for fresh veggies. She also convinced him to finally dropping the medieval style robe he wore, and start dressing a bit more modern. What he's wearing now was as far as he was willing to stretch with the update, though.

Everett 1: Hi, I'm Everett!

Everett 2: Me too!

I'm not sure how it happened, but the family got cloned. Maybe the game decided the population was low, and copied one of the households I had in my Family Bin. In Sims 3, this isn't necessarily a big deal, as far as I understand, but I didn't want double up. (JB and EJ didn't get cloned, because they were originally a separate family.)

But with Master Controller, which sounds like a Dr. Who villain but is a very essential mod, things like that don't matter. You can easily edit any Sim and rename them. Everett's clone, who's now sporting a sort-of-hawk, is now named Igor. Don't ask, I just generated a name for him, I think.

EJ is one of those "bathe outside" Sims. If he was an adult, he'd be a nekkid hot-tubber. That tub is for washing the piglets, but the piglets strongly resist. x)

JB: What do you mean you went to school like that?! EJ, you're a human now! You have to adapt your behaviour to what's accepted and actually legal!

EJ: It's not like you don't drive down to the 7-11 in only your underpants!

JB: That's different!

EJ: Why?

JB: Because I'm your Dad! Go put your clothes on!

He didn't have to put on a lot of clothes, though. JB was invited to a pool party, and Melody and EJ rolled the want to gatecrash.

It was the ugly skeleton-face family Jones-Brown's house, which doesn't even have a pool to party in.

Just out of curiosity, I had JB influence Melody to go and make out with the mustache man. She's Insane and Inappropriate, so she tries it autonomously now and then.

He rejected her advances, but nothing more happened. Okay, EJ didn't like watching his Dad getting almost cheated on. I think he went home, because he's absent from the rest of the pictures.

Renée: Is this your baby? Someone's left a baby here. Oh gosh darnit! It's probably my stupid daughter leaving the grandbaby lying around again.

Bobby Sargeant(?): Aren't they going to like... feed us some time? It's supposed to be a party!

Alma Drill: No, they never do. You'll need to throw your own bash if you want grub. Now shut up and watch the show.

Melody: What are we watching?

JB: It's a Rocky Marathon. Too bad there isn't actually any alcohol here. Drinking makes it seem like the quality stays consistant throughout the series.* Yeah! Punch him! Floor him!

Renée: Oh good goodness I'm so hungryyy! And nobody's fed this baby for like three days. Who's cooking? We're all gonna diiiiiiiiiiiiie!

*I haven't seen the three last films, but from what I've heard they get lousier for each sequel.

JB: Oh Melody!

Melody: Oh Jay-Bee!

Blonde: I'm thinkin of heading home. It's kind of late.

Renée: Why doesn't anyone care about this poor babyyyy? Is this the same baby who lives here? Are there any people cooking yet?

Melody: Noooo, not my bra strap! We've got an audience!

Bobby Sargeant: I salute me!

JB: Great party!

Melody: Yeah, I'm knackered.

Sometimes Melody isn't quite sure what she's signed up for.

Porky and Albert had this weird glitch where they suddenly became deformed like you see here. I guess it was because they were made from big dogs that I resized. Suddenly they would revert to their old size for a few seconds, so I had to remake them using small dogs.

Oh, and Butch got the flees. See those little dark spots? It's a plague, just like the flu in Sims 2. If one pet has it, soon all the other pets and every human in the house (and visitors) have them too.

I love Sims 3 pets!

Playing a computer game: The closest thing JB usually gets to a sport.
