They are forcing me to plow and harvest, and because of that I haven't had time to play Sims, or even write the last update I promised. I will work on an escape plan, but they are very evil and have dragons. Sorry, guys!

FarmVille turns up to abduct me every now and then. Well, around this time of the year, since that's when they release the themed holiday farms.

Don't worry, I'm not done with Simming yet! I am reconsidering starting new legacies right away when I finish the current three, though. Although I haven't been playing the actual game, I've been making character Sims in Body Shop, that I'd like to play with. I miss my old play-style, and I'm also toying with the idea of making a Sim-story with some sort of plot. But the Magpies and friends are definitely returning. This week I'll have quite a few days off, since the Bossman leaves on Tuesday morning to oversee a project in a city four hours away. :)

I've been meaning to come back and reply. FarmVille sounds like a fun thing you'd like to do once in a while. I got tired of everyone's game spam on Facebook--I couldn't even find their normal posts--and that was one of the reasons I deleted my FB. That, and my "friends" started ignoring me. But yeah, I'll bet it'd be fun to grow and harvest teh crawps. Gardening in TS2 is probably limited in comparison.

Well, I for one would read whatever you posted. Be careful about posting a story, though. Writers like to pretend they don't read anything online to cover their butts in case of lawsuits, but I'm just positive that's where a lot of them go mining for story ideas. Everything on the Internet is "free," after all.

If I posted anything I actually wanted to use later, I would probably friend-lock it. However, I've got five generation of Mags and Macs, as well as six generations of Starblooms, to go before I'm legacy-free. Fear not, all three of them are getting updates during the next couple of weeks. :P I'll try to grab myself by the scruff and do the Magpie update before Friday. Try being the operative word. I've been slacking so awfully, lately.

Right now I'm very angry with Farmville, because I've forgotten the same 10-minute crop THREE TIMES in a row, and it's withered. D:<

I've got the game up and running on this computer, but I'm not so sure it can handle it in the long run--especially the Ducklings' massive lot and all the Sims on it. I should really put their neighborhood in and give it the old stress test. The Dimwits check out, but there are only three of them on the lot right now because the kids have grown up or gone to college. They look a little funny, like they've been dubbed into the background, and the animations stutter. I think I'll look for a more powerful computer and just use this one for...stuff. In the meantime, I'm going to play a challenge I've been interested in doing for a while. More details on my LJ sooooon.

I'm in the process of setting up a new neighborhood just for said challenge, because I don't want to risk breaking my other 'hoods in case I've done something wrong with installing/moving in my backed up game folders. (Because who wants to reinstall all that CC? O:) I'll probably have word on the challenge next week.

Looks like I may get another few days off from work this week and next, as Bosses #1 and #2 are going back to the other city to inspect the new project, and we got 90% of the urgent paperwork done today. :)

The bad news is that the DVD player has been temperamental again. I was hoping to play the Starblooms a little more before giving it a break, but it apparently wants it now.

WHY UR DVD DIRVE SOOOO MEAN?@?!?!!!?? Seriously, too bad it chooses now to be iffy. I miss the Starblooms, too! But at least you'll have more time to catch up on updates you need to post. *cue threatening look* I know what you mean, though. It's a huge amount of work to put an update together. Even for me, and all of mine are pre-written. But I still have to upload the pictures, paste in the HTML and change the image locations, and give it an edit before I hit the post button. I do this process over two or three days so it won't take up too much time all at once. D:

The part I really dread is cropping all the text-shots. :( There are always way too many of those. And then I need to find out where they go, in between the regular pictures. At least I didn't take too many of them with the MacAvoys, and the Travecy only has them when something really unusual happens.
