If you're writing what you're hoping is a breath-taking, heart-rending romance... you do not name your romantic hero Stephen Morrisey. Also, blonde hair and a deep sun-tan is not really indicative of mostly Irish heritage. Sorz.

Lolz! That reminds me of the thing I had for Morrissey when I was young. Not a romantic thing, but I almost hero-worshipped him because he wrote the words that I couldn't write for/about myself. Then I realized he's just another big-mouthed sunnabidge like the rest of us, and I came back down to earth. It taught me not to look for heroes. XD

I've never really had heroes, because I'm just hella cynical. x)

I would actually have loved to see a "romantic" novel where the male protagonist spouted profound truths like You have never been in love, until you've seen the sunrise roll, over smashed human bones.

Good for you. I usually didn't, either. There's really no such thing anymore.

Well, I still like his lyrics of old, but not so much him. X)
